Now that summer is well and truly over, some of us who happened to have hammered the sun, would find that your hair would not be thanking you for it right now. My hair is blonde and very course, dry and damaged and was really suffering. I was using my usual concoctions to help repair my hair. Then Bumble and bumble as always came to my aid, as they brought out their NEW range Save The Day Daytime Protective Repair Fluid and Save The Day Overnight Damage Repair masque.
Let me tell you about Save The Day Daytime Protective Repair Fluid with Camellia Oil. Camellia oil has so many benefits and has been used as traditional hair and skin treatments in ancient times in China. It instantly revives hair when use daily.

Absorbs Quickly Deep into Skin Restoring Bounce and Elasticity. Camellia oil is a fast-absorbing moisturizer. … Among other benefits, it is a trans-dermal carrier of cell rebuilding nutrients and bio active compounds (collagen and elastin) into skin, which repair damage caused by dryness, sun exposure and aging!!

What more do you want in a product, one that works in the day and then when your busy you can just leave in the Save the day Overnight damage repair masque for overnight rejuvenation. This is firmly becoming my favorite in my armory to beat dryness. If you have not tried yet, then what are you waiting for? I promise you, this is one product you will not regret purchasing.

Yes they certainly are, and I feel a little uneasy about it. I first wore this trend back in the late 90’s. I had a Mock Croc Pair, they were from Miss Selfridge and I loved them!. I have tried to resist this trend as you well know if you are reader of this Blog, that for me Fast Fashion is for those who have no opinion and when everyone is rushing out to buy the next trend I am slowly making my way too it as and when I see fit. However, this style of shoe has so many practical benefits that I can only ignore it for so long but for it needs to be part of my shoe family.
This particular pair were in the sale and I love the little quirky detail where it still has the back on so as to keep you guessing is it a shoe or is it a mule?? I picked these up in the Summer Sale from Miss Selfridge. I find this brand a little hit and miss. I feel overall that its lost its way a bit. I fear gone are the glory days (I used to be a Brand Manager to Miss Selfridge in the 00’s) when Miss S Dominated the young lady fashion of the day. Never the less when they do get it, they get it really right. These Mules are a testimony to that, they are a gorgeous rustic colour with a nice suede finish. The heel is slightly higher than I would normally go for, but I will let it go, as the price was far too good to pass up.
I have been wearing these with my Navy culottes and as here with my camel pair. I also love how the colour contrasts so beautifully with a dark blue denim….Lovely!! Such a great shoe that can be casual down or dressed up to the nines!. Have you tried this season Mules yet? Would you try them? Let me know in the comments below.
You can shop the below (some pieces are not available, but I have found great alternatives)

Freehand panelling is one of the most popular salon hair painting techniques this season. It can achieve anything from soft and sun-kissed blonde looks to more prominent and bold results.

A huge trend in makeup has been adopted by colourists. Contouring allows you to highlight, shadow and visually define the shape of the haircut.

This look is inspired by the iconic Bond Girl, Britt Ekland – finely woven seamless highlights add natural looking texture and dimension to the haircut, creating an effortless and elegant overall look.

This flawless lightening result creates the ultimate blonde statement, giving a balanced result on natural and previously coloured areas of the hair, providing a uniform colour effect.

Inspired by the New York fashion scene, this technique creates a gentle transition from the darker root colour, to lighter, softer tones
through the mid-lengths and ends.

Enhance the shape of the cut with this face-framing, Haute Couture technique. Inspired by makeup contouring, this colour technique accentuates edges and creates a focal point to a haircut.
